Plant Bruntál
Originally, the plant in Bruntál was founded so as to build an aluminum foundry. Later, it turned out to be of more advantage to start another production plant here that should help meet the increasing demands of our customers.
The development in Bruntál began in summer 2019. The original plan was to build smelting furnaces and a casting line for processing the aluminum remnants from Kamenice. In July 2020, the cold commissioning of the line took place.
During this cold commissioning, substantial quality deficiencies became evident and therefore a modification was determined in 2021. Instead of casting and smelting, the construction of a production similar to the one in Kamenice was started in Bruntál. In 2022, a new, fully automated robotized forging line was installed. Again, necessary demolition and construction works were done to comply with all standards, especially occupational safety. Towards the end of 2022, the production was launched. Since January 2023, the production in Bruntál has been expanded by the station of finishing operations as well.
The mass production of chassis parts for automotive industry has proceeded in a standard way as per expectations. At the end of 2023, preparation construction works were launched to install a second, highly up-to-date, automated forging line which works are still in progress due to the extent and demanding nature of the line. The official commissioning of the new line is planned for December 2024.
